35 Weeks

35 Weeks

I haven't seen my feet in weeks! I keep growing and growing. Baby measures about 18 inches long and weighs about 5 3/4 pounds. I'm still craving milk (on average I go through a gallon every 4-5 days. Yikes!) I guess I could be craving worse. Chicken breast is still my only real food aversion and my hips/low back have been achy. I can feel things shifting around. I worked two days last week back in the office and forgot how much I CANNOT STAND cigarette smoke. I could have sworn everyone that walked in smelled like an ash tray... my coworkers said it wasn't THAT bad. Sleep has been ok and the baby is still kicking up a storm. Brian and I have been trying to get as much done around the house before the baby comes but we are running out of time... 35 days to go! Brian has been working non-stop lately and I couldn't appreciate it more.

Seeding and aerating the lawn...

Of course the day we decide to finally work in the yard its almost 80 out!

Brian and Daisy taking a quick nap after working on the lawn all morning... and yes he actually fell asleep like that!

Our friends Meaghan & Joe got married yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we had an absolute great time at the wedding. We are so happy for the newlyweds! I do think they were trying to torture me. They had open bar ALL night and had servers walking around handing out 2 specialty drinks : (

A little photo both fun with Brian's parents : )

34 Weeks

34 Weeks

Still going strong... slow but strong. I'm still really tired and can definitely tell the baby is growing bigger and stronger. Baby still likes kicking right up under my rib cage, ouch! We spent the weekend up at Nascar and had a great time!

Such a good husband blowing up my seat cushion: )

Brian's Mom and Dad and Aunt and Uncle walking down to the track holding hands:) awww!

Friday night was FREEZING!!! It was only 31 when we woke up Saturday morning

IT'S A.....

GRANDMA TO BE SHOWER!

Haha! Sorry everyone. I had to do it just once! My aunts threw my mom a Grandma To Be Shower a couple of weeks ago. I'm so happy they did that for her and couldn't be more thankful!

My mother made these a few years back for her nephews baby shower. My aunt thought they were just too cute to throw them away so she FROZE them this whole time! Don't they look awesome?!

33 Weeks

33 Weeks

Finally catching up with my posts! 33 weeks and boy am I tired! The baby has still been kicking the crap out of my ribs. The kicks are starting to feel more like defined movements... which is amazing but SO weird. Still kinda freaks me out, not going to lie! My feet have been hurting too and I think they got bigger! Brian has been pretty good at massaging them so I guess I can't complain too much:) I still can't get enough MILK!  Another busy weekend. Brian had a work golf outing and I had a bachelorette party at Foxwoods! I survived and yes I stayed up with the rest of the girls! We partied until 2:30am. I was very proud of myself lol. It did kinda feel wrong being at a club with a big ol' belly... but I was very glad I went.

EVEN BETTER NEWS!!!

My Mom surprised me and is FLYING OUT FOR THE BABY SHOWER!!! I guess her and Betty (my mother-in-law) have been planning this since APRIL. I can't believe they kept this a secret for so long! We are beyond happy that Mom will be able to be here... and that she gets to see this big ol' belly!!!

My jaw hit the floor when I saw how much my belly grew in just 2 WEEKS! Seriously!!! 2 WEEKS! I feel like i'm getting bigger by the day.... I guess I am because pictures don't lie!!

31-32 Weeks

31-32 Weeks

What a busy couple of weeks! We finished the construction portion of the nursery, finished painting/hardware on the dresser/changing table, and got the room set up. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! We also got to take a tour of he hospital which was great. We are getting soo anxious!

Since I've hit the 30 week mark, I've slowed down alot! Waking up 4-5 times a night to go to the bathroom doesn't help trying to get a good nights sleep. Baby is really starting to get BIG and my bladder is really feeling it!

We had our coworkers wedding which was a blast! She looked amazing!!!

Doesn't he look cute?!: )

And yes... the bride is hiding behind my belly: ( lol!

30 Weeks

30 Weeks

I can't believe we are already 30 weeks! Baby is roughly 15.7 inches long and weighs almost 3lbs!!! This last week I have been pretty tired, the heartburn has been acting up, and I haven't had much of an appetite. I think the worst part is knowing I'm going to feel worse as it gets closer to the due date. I have been reassured "it's worth it" and people have more than one baby all the time, so it can't be that bad right?! I have been sleeping ok and still craving milk. Our OB appointment this week went great and we got to schedule the "rest" of our appointments up until the due date.

Brian got a little taste of "what it feels like"!!!

We had our birthing class today. Brian got to wear the "Empathy Belly". It weighed around 30lbs. Unfortunately he wasn't able to experience the kicks : )

29 Weeks

29 Weeks

Baby is kicking up a storm! Earlier in the week Brian had his hand on my belly and I got the BIGGEST kick to date! Brian actually jumped off the couch and I had tears rolling down my face I was laughing so hard! I could have sworn the baby was trying to get out he/she kicked SO hard! The 3rd trimester has been  treating my well so far, although, I am more tired, getting low back pain/sciatica from time to time, and just minor aches and pains. In general I am feeling good. I'm still drinking milk like crazy and for food aversions still chicken breast. My work schedule temporarily changed from working three 12hr shifts a week to working Monday-Friday 8a-4p. Being home early every night has been great! Although only working 3 days a week was great I think the 8 hour days were perfect timing.

We have a floor!

Ripping up the carpet padding

Brian being Brian : )

It was so nice Bob and Bill came up to help!

YAY!!! All we have left to do is the trim! I'm so excited and happy with how it turned out. Thank you Brian, Bob, and Bill!
